Here are 10 tips that will help you lose weight and feel great:

  1. Boredom is one of your greatest enemies when you're trying to lose weight. To keep it at bay, make sure you've always got a wide selection of fruit and vegetables to choose from.
  2. Reduce your intake of fat and carbohydrates, and substitute them with fruit and vegetables.
  3. Prepare your meals when you're not too hungry. That way you'll avoid the temptation of adding unnecessary fat, salt and carbohydrates to your dishes.
  4. Don't ban any products from your diet, just limit them. To make sure you burn those calories, have them only before going to the gym, doing housework or going out for a walk.
  5. Never - ever - skip breakfast. A healthy and substantial breakfast is your greatest ally, and the best way to avoid feeling hungry all day and snacking.
  6. Have dinner no less than two hours before going to bed, so you can burn at least part of the calories.
  7. Aim at drinking two liters (four pints) of water a day. Water doesn't make you put on weight. On the contrary, it cleanses you out and it helps you get rid of toxins.

  10. To avoid deep frying, use a variety of cooking techniques: steaming, roasting, grilling, stir-frying, microwaving and stewing. It will not only help you lose weight, but it will also make your meals more interesting!
